Zlatina Deliradeva is one of the leading choir conductors and music pedagogues in Bulgaria, a choral conducting professor at the Academy of Music and Dance Arts-Plovdiv. From 1999 till 2008 she is Academy’s artistic and creative activity and post-graduate qualification Deputy Director.
Prof. Deliradeva’s is related with Detska Kitka Choir for five decades, during which she achieves an awards from prestigious Bulgarian and European choir competitions, participates in international festivals and forums, she has been to more than 40 concert tours in 18 European countries.
In November 2017 there were two memorable anniversaries – 70 years from the establishment of Detska Kitka Choir of the Center of Support of Personal Development – Municipal Children
Complex, Plovdiv, and 50 years anniversary of creative activity of Prof. Zlatina Deliradeva with Detska Kitka Choir. The choir held a concert that was build up throughout the decades by Prof. Zlatina Deliradeva, and in the last 15 years with the cooperation of Yana Deliradeva.
Prof. Zlatina Deliradeva an award winner of: „The best conductor“ from the International Choir Competition, Celje, Slovenia; „Chrystal Lyra“ and „Chrystal Necklace“ from the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers; „Plovdiv“ award for high achievements in the field of art and culture; „Cyril and Methodius“ Order – first degree; Academic Award „Hopper Chan“ from the Academy of Music and Dance Arts-Plovdiv. She is an honorary citizen of the town of Chirpan and the city of Plovdiv.
Milena Dobreva was born in 1962 in Bourgas. First she had finished School of Music in Burgas, after it the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. She has professional qualifications in Pop and jazz singing from National Academy of Music „Prof. Pancho Vladigerov“, Sofia and in Music and Media Technology and Sound Engineering at Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“. Now she is a teacher of pop and jazz singing and piano at school „Dimcho Debelyanov“ and of pop and jazz singing and vocal ensembles in NUMSI „Prof. Pancho Vladigerov“, Burgas. She is a creator and leader of the children’s vocal group „Morski Pesuchinki“ – winner of prize rewards in national and international music competitions and festivals. As well Milena is working with sound recording, processing and also she is master of many albums of folk-style compositions, gospel ensembles and individual artists in big variety of genres. Composer and arranger of popular children’s songs – winners of the National Competition „Burgas and the Sea“ and the National Children’s Song Contest „Sladkopoina Chuchuliga“. First prize winner of the contest „Teacher of the Year“ of the Republic of Bulgaria – 2008. Founder and conductor of the Vocal Ensemble „Fortissimo“.
Plamen Georgiev was born in Rousse, where he graduated from the Musical High School as a violinist. He studied in the Musical Academy – Sofia, choir conducting with Prof. Anna Belcheva. He also studied composition with Prof. Parashkev Hadzhiev and orchestral conducting with Prof. Dragomir Nenov. He has specializations with Prof. Klavdii Ptitsa and Prof. Vasil Arnaudov, with whom he works 10 years in the town of Rousse. Plamen Georgiev is a chorus activist, conductor and pedagogue in Sofia, Dupnitsa, Pernik and Rousse. He has been a leading conductor of the Municipal Choir of Stara Zagora and chief artistic director of Choral School „Danube waves“, Rousse. As one of the conductors of the well-known choir „Rodina“, Rousse, he has greatly contributed to the achieving of all of the five prizes from the contest in Llangollen, Weles /1998/ and the title „Choir of the World“.
Since the end of 1991 until 2016 he works with 6 choirs in Germany. For his 25 years of conducting experience there, he is honored with the highest titles „Music director“ of the International Choral-Conductor Union and of the Association of the Professional Choral Conductors in Germany.
During his 43 years of conducting experience he is a winner of over 23 special and conducting awards from many world competitions and festivals. He has been multiple times a member of a jury in Europe and Bulgaria. He has also had concert tours in Europe, many recordings and first awards from contests in Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary and Germany. He has also conducted the famous Johann Strauss Orchestra in Frankfurt, Germany.
Since the end of 2017 he is a leading conductor and the Opera and Philharmonic Choir „Sexaginta Prista“ of the Rousse State Opera.
Valentina Georgieva is a conductor, music teacher and leader of children’s vocal groups.
She is a graduate of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, where she studied conducting with the Associate Professor Nikola Lipov. She subsequently specialized in choral conducting under professor Liliya Gyuleva at the State Academy of Music”Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia.
An active participant in international choral- conducting courses, a member of the Executive Board of the Bulgarian Choral Union and currently a PhD student at the New Bulgarian University – Sofia.
As a conductor of “Chernomorski zvutsi” mixed choir Valentina Georgieva has taken part in numerous competitions and festivals in Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, the Czech Republic and is a prize winner at national and international forums. As a leader of “Chernomorski zvutsi” mixed choir, she has three CDs released in 1998, 2004 and 2011. Full of inspiration, talent and perseverance and relying upon the tradition, she strives to give the choir a contemporary image in accordance with the trends in choral art worldwide.
