Valentina Georgieva, PhD is a conductor, a music pedagogue, a leader of children’s vocal groups, a president of the Association „Musical world-Balchik“, a creator and artistic director of the International choir festival „Chernomorski zvutsi“. She is an alumnus of „Prof. Asen Diamandiev“ Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, in Plovdiv; she specialized in choral conducting at „Prof. Pancho Vladigerov“ State Music Academy in Sofia and in 2013 she received a PhD at New Bulgarian University. Valentina Georgieva is also a lecturer, head of workshops, author and editor of book collections, a moderator, and jury in national and international festivals.
Darina Krosneva graduated from Prof. P. Vladigerov NAM in Sofia, majoring in choral conducting. For 43 years she has been conducting Varna Boys and Youths Choir. Winner of awards and diplomas from international and national competitions and festivals. Winner of the Special Prize and the 1st Prize for Male choir in Monteux (Switzerland). She has performed with great success in Bulgaria, Europe and the USA. She has made recordings in the Belgian National Radio, Radio Chablais – Switzerland, the Bulgarian National Radio, Radio Varna. From 1981 to 1985 she has been the chief conductor of the Female Choir of the Medical workers and winner of a gold medal. She has been awarded Silver Lyre, Golden Lyre and Crystal Necklace by the BMDU for high artistic achievements and long artistic career, Golden Century Prize and Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria for an entire contribution to the choral art and to the Bulgarian culture. Member of the Jury at international competitions, long-standing member of the Organizing Committee of IMCC Prof. G. Dimitrov. Chairperson of the Conductors’ Collegium in Varna at the BCU.
Yana Deliradeva graduates The Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. In 2001 she acquired a Master’s degree in choir conducting of the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, USA. Studies choir conducting with Nikola Lipov, PhD, Prof. Georgi Robev and Prof. Joseph Flammersfeld. From the year of 2000 to 2002 she works as a second conductor of the Choir of Westminster Conservatory. In 2003 she starts working as an assistant conductor in “Detska Kitka” Children’s Choir, and from 2011 she became a conductor of the choir. She teaches choir conducting in The Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. She is twice an owner of the prize for Conducting Mastery „Prof. Veneta Vicheva“ from the Dobri Voinikov International Children and Youth Choral Days, Shumen.
