Associate professor Adriana Blagoeva has graduated as “Choir conducting” from the State Musical Academy “Prof.Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia. Besides of her active conducting practice, Adriana Blagoeva teaches choir conducting at the State Musical Academy. the Special Conductor Mastership Prize at the 1st International Choral Competition in Bolzano,Italy in 2000. Since 1989 Adriana Blagoeva has been a conductor of the Sofia Boys’ Choir. Under her direction the choir has extended and enriched its musical repertoire, activated its concert and recording activities, won prestigious awards at international choir competitions.

Prof. Filip Pavlov graduated from the State Academy of Music in 1974 majoring and Composition under Professor Alexander Raychev. He specialised in Paris and attended an international composition competition in Amsterdam. He has actively performed as a solo pianist and shamber musician in Bulgaria, Europe and America. He has been teaching at the State Academy of Music. In 1998 he was promoted full professor at the South-western University in Blagoevgrad. He was prizewinner at the Svetoslav Obretenov Competition, the competition in Belgrade for chamber music, the piano competition Sinegalia in Italy, the composition competition Valentino Bucci in Roma.

Valentina Georgieva is a conductor, music teacher and leader of children’s vocal groups.

She is a graduate of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, where she studied conducting with the Associate Professor Nikola Lipov. She subsequently specialized in choral conducting under professor Liliya Gyuleva at the State Academy of Music”Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia.

An active participant in international choral- conducting courses, a member of the Executive Board of the Bulgarian Choral Union and currently a PhD student at the New Bulgarian University – Sofia.
As a conductor of “Chernomorski zvutsi” mixed choir Valentina Georgieva has taken part in numerous competitions and festivals in Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, the Czech Republic and is a prize winner at national and international forums. As a leader of “Chernomorski zvutsi” mixed choir, she has three CDs released in 1998, 2004 and 2011. Full of inspiration, talent and perseverance and relying upon the tradition, she strives to give the choir a contemporary image in accordance with the trends in choral art worldwide.
