Elianka Mihailova

Eliyanka Mihailova is an experienced conductor. She graduated from the State Music Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria. After her graduation she conducted Female choir "Christina Morfova" and since 1995 - took the leadership of the Mixed Chamber Choir "Holy Trinity". She participated in festivals and competitions in UK, Israel, Greece, Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, Italy, Russia etc.
Eliyanka Mihailova is a director of "Performing Arts and Art Education" Department of the Ministry of culture.


Atanaska Popova

Atanaska Popova has graduated the Academic Major of „Choir conducting“ in the class of Prof. Anna Belcheva at „Prof. Pancho Vladigerov“ National Academy of Music, city of Sofia.
She started her career as conductor of Ladies Choir „Morfova-Prokopova“ which she directed for almost 10 years. Since 2013 she conducts Ladies choir „Alabrea“ which won many prices from International Choral Competitions in Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Romania, among which Grand Prix for best mandatory piece interpretation at the International Choral Competition „Liviu Borlan“, Baia Mare, Romania/2016/. Atanaska Popova was awarded the “Best conductor” prizes at the International Choral Festival „Chernomorski zvutsi“, city of Balchik /2013 and 2016/ and at the International May Choral Competition „Prof. G. Dimitrov“, city of Varna in 2015.
She has taken part of Masterclasses of Assoc. Prof. Krikor Chetinyan, Prof. Erwin Ortner, Prof. Miroslav Popsavov.
Currently she is a Music and Piano Teacher at „Pitagor“ Private School, city of Sofia.


Emil Strundjev

 Emil Strundzhev was born in Lom. He has gotten his higher education from the Academy for Music and Dance Arts in Plovdiv. Right after his graduation he started work in the Secondary Comprehensive School „Kliment Ohridski“ in Dobrich as a music teacher – history of music, harmony. The vocal work experience he gathered from his years, as well as his professional practice, he transferred onto his students from the Vocal class. In 1998 he started work as a Director of Cultural and Entertainment Programs in Albena. From 2003 to 2007 he was a Production Director and Executive Producer in the production company Miramar Film, Sofia. From 2008 onwards he is the President of Art Center Stringendo, Sofia. He’s an active contributor to the development of the festival arts in Bulgaria, as well as abroad. He is the Director of the IAF Trixie, Balchik.

Working with children is a source of musical inspiration for the songwriter. He has written over 60 songs and part of them are collected in 5 albums. His songs and arrangements are part of school books of the Ministry of Science and Education. Many of the songs have won first prizes at contests: „The golden rooster“, „Million miracles“. Emil Strundzhev has co-author of the Textbook for music and theory of musical expression elements for the 11th and 12th grade.

Emil Strundzhev holds the honorable distinction of the Ministry of Science and Education „Neofit Rilski“ for his highly professional work as a teacher. He present Bulgaria to international forums across Europe, Asia and America.


valentina

Valentina Georgieva is a conductor, music teacher and leader of children’s vocal groups.

She is a graduate of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, where she studied conducting with the Associate Professor Nikola Lipov.  She subsequently  specialized in choral conducting under professor Liliya Gyuleva at the State Academy of Music”Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia.

An active participant in international choral- conducting courses, a member of the Executive Board of the Bulgarian Choral Union and currently a PhD student at the New Bulgarian University – Sofia.
As a conductor of "Chernomorski zvutsi" mixed choir Valentina Georgieva has taken part in numerous competitions and festivals in Spain, Greece, Macedonia, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, the Czech Republic and is a prize winner at national and international forums. As a leader of "Chernomorski zvutsi" mixed choir, she has three CDs released in 1998, 2004 and 2011. Full of inspiration, talent and perseverance and relying upon the tradition, she strives to give the choir a contemporary image in accordance with the trends in choral art worldwide.
